Really good fun, the ultimately in short scrotty caves. With few passages measuring more than a couple of foot in any axis, lots of crawling, with knees and hands squelching in nasty reddy-brown mud several inches deep.

We think we got to the bit known as 'the sphincter' which leads onto quite a bit more cave, including axphixia passage (joy!) however, we mistook it for a dead end we reckon.

Nontheless a fun, 1-2hr long session, lots of exploring to be done. We should DEFINITELY return. Perhaps with the intention of doing Bogg Hall cave top entrance on the same day (this will require a wetsuit whereas just an undersuit and oversuit are OK for Kirkdale).

After talking with the fella near Bogg Hall we should definitely make more of an effort to get to the NY Moors area more often, as there's the opportunity to get more involved with discovery and exploratory caving, rather than just the sporting caving we do at the moment.
