Notts Pot Epic change-over adventure with 12 people! - 23 Jan 2005

All Hail Gary the god of organisation. Everything went well for a great trip easy trip up to the cave and asside from gary parking miles from where we did and forcing us to play on the large ammounts of ice which festoond the roadside for a bit we got changed in brilliant sunshine (warmest change yet). Found the cave with only a little searching and found it allready rigged and rearing to go. Decended and split up into groups waving each othe goodbye only to find them again at the bottom. Twilight was quite technical with some awkward traverses and a couple of long pitches but the absolute bitch was trying to get up the 2nd(?) to last pitch with tacklesack many smaller poeple complained that it was tight ... and i aint small note make sure that battery pack is not on your back BEFORE it gets wedged firm. from there exited through twighlight (due to a bolt that me and nicky didn't like the sound of in bt) got to the main chamber to see steve and andy v emerge from bt like... well cavers whove just been through an extremely muddy cave left the cave and got to the cars just in time to freeze our butts off while standing at night on a moor but naked on ice with extra coldness and wind but my hands defrosted by the time i started on my kebeb
