Bar Pot was rather busy this weekend. We ended up rigging underneath two ropes, which we expected to be gone by the time we came out, but it was not to be. We arrived to the bottom of the big pitch to find several people descending/ascending. A long wait was required!

Otherwise a very efficient trip down to GG main chamber, quite speedy with no issues. Unfortunately the sun had passed the point at which it streams into the chamber, and so unfortunately we didn't get to see a sunlit chamber... it was pretty dark. So much water too, and evidence of a recent flood stretching back into the passages leading down to main chamber (lots of pools of muddy water). Must be a scary place to be when this happens!
