Quite a faffy trip, but fun nevertheless. Small Mammal Pot is a good alternative to the standard Bar Pot descent. Be warned though, it is more than a bit muddy (as the rest of the team could verify by the state of my face and oversuit at the end of the day!) and not ideal for "larger" people - quite a bit of squeezing and contortionism were required in places. I dont think Matt enjoyed going through the keyhole at the top of the big pitch!

It was quite bizarre going through the cave and being able to hear the other team in various places. Even more so to cross paths at the top of the big pitch!

I rigged the last pitch cos Mark was too blind to spot the p-hangers... South East Aven is quite impressive - probably more so than the big pitch.

The main chamber was very impressive due to the amount of rainfall the previous couple of days. Three distinct large waterfalls compared to the one or two seen on previous visits. I tested out my new Fenix lights here and a few other places throughout the trip. They're fecking awesome - especially on strobe setting!! 8)
