A small cave (very small) just up from Long Churn.

After doing Long Churn, and simply not having enough of caving, I send Toby off to look for Wilsons. He found it, so Gary let me and Adam go play underground with Toby.

The entrance is pretty lame, I mean low. Crouching walking/crawling/nearly flat out in water for quite a way until the passage opens up a bit more (and saves neck ache). The water shallows to a small stream and there's a small climby bit. (We climbed early and traversed across)- the way on from here passes several skylights - even though they are on a small scale they are pretty impressive. Very pretty :) I was very impressed with Adam at this point, not only the enthusiasm, but I honestly did not think from following him that it was his first time underground - by a long way! Another climby bit (which I squeaked on as wellie water ran up my oversuit legs and made my pants wet again!) and then the roof disappears, the very small canyon like thing (don't know what you call it) carries on round a few bends until in closes down and you have to step out to overground again!

Fun, fun, fun.
A good add on for enthusiastic and capable (still warm) freshers maybe..
