Selside PotHoping over the wall next to the Long Churn Resurgence Entrance you get to a field with two caves. The first we visited is about 2/3rd of the way across the field in pretty much a straight line from Diccan. It's in a small shake hole and the entrance is pretty obvious. A clamber down reveals a small rift with some rusty threads on the right hand wall. Imo went down first and followed the rift in a straight line along. I went last and noted at the base of the climb (hidden amongst collapsed rock) was a flat out crawl.
Imo and Marcus soon reached the end, and Marcus climbed up a couple of metres into a crawl. The climb didn't look like the easiest, so I instead climbed up towards an inlet a few metres back. My route led to a small musty white aven with a stream issuing a couple of metres up. I climbed up to have a look but the passage was small and razor like. I climbed back to the base of the aven and could see Marcus level with me. I crawled through a tight section along the top of the rift to where he was and we looked at the passage he had found. It was fairly pretty (better than anything in Long Churn!) we crossed some crystal floor and some the passage got smaller and whiter. I could have got further but it would have meant muddying the walls, so I didn't bother. Noting the shrimp we backed out. Laz had already disappeared out of the cave, Marcus stuck his head into the crawl, but the shoring holding up the rock we climbed up was not inspiring enough to warrant going in (apparently Toby has already been there...)
