Report by Charlie Dixon

This was a really fun weekend away. Different workshops and talks happened on the saturday. This included cave photography (in a fake cave!), first aid (knowing how to feel people properly!), Mountaineering (how to use compases properly and erect group shelters), SRT, o yea and how to put people in a stretcher. We stayed the night in a climbing wall with huge green faces on some of the walls and a bit of a high ropes course thingy at the top of it,of course we wernt allowed to go on it... espectially not when the wall was closed... but rumer has it it was AWSOME!!!!!! and i WOULD have loved it!
Then on Sunday we did a 'cave rescue' which was really cool. And a yummy curry takeaway eaten on the pavement while blocking the whole walkway was the perfect end to a great day!

:) :) :)
NB: If this oppertunity arises again we should def send more people to do it! Its also a great way to make connections with other uni clubs.
