Canyoning - 16th Aug 2009

Members present: Andy Tricklebank,  Laura Bennett,  Luke Brownbridge,  Max Spicer,  Nicola Gover,  Richard Gover,  Steve Gilbert

Note, whilst the canyoning went uber smoothly, the "5" for faff is due to:

1) Not knowing where we were going.
2) Not knowing whether any of the 'canyons' from the dodgy translation were doable.
3) Not knowing how much gear to take
4) Not knowing whether any gear was needed
5) Driving up a track and grounding the 'black' car numerous times only to decide not to do that canyon.
6) Not taking a watch
7) setting a callout but not changing it following 2hrs of additional faff
8: Nearly killing several members in white water.
9) Not taking kayaks for the mentioed white water
10) Nearly missing the call out because we spent an hour twating about jumping off a bridge and scaring tourist.
11) Nearly getting Steve a black eye following a face plant.
12) Facing the potentially embarrassing prospect of Ade and Chuck galloping over the Triglav mountain range to our rescue on a pair of white stallions.
