LOL a wet trip like this one is supposed to get full marks for scum= wet ^^ That doesn't mean that I didn't like it. On the contrary, I like any excuse for getting totally wet, and really had such a good time in the main stream. It was such a magic place, in particular Marble Shower Series which took my breath away. Wearing just the right amount of layers helped me to keep warm so that even prolonged stays in the pools of cave water were pleasant. This was by far the best trip ever for me! Every part of the cave system has its own feel: Top dry and dusty with gnome-like, mysterious formations, the stream passage a massive play ground for weirdoes like me, and then the unbelievably huge chambers in Cwm Dwr Piccadilly. I felt so small and unsignificant scrambling between massive boulders and trying to light out the high ceilings of the chambers. The trip deserves 4 for hardness because of the horrible crawls out of Cwm Dwr. But the pain is totally worth it! Thanks to Mark and Caitlin for having been great leaders!
