This was my second crack at the round trip. I was expecting it to take 6 hours but it turned out to take 7 1/2. Getting changed should have scored 5 krabs but I lowered it to 4 because we had DR Jones by aqua blasting out across tthe valley.
The first half of the cave was rather uneventful. I was staggered at how small and unimpressive megadrive was compared to what I had remembered. Still, caving with your oversuit around your waist is always a novelety. Again there were no real issues in the agent blorenge streamway. Those climbs are certainly very tricky, well done everyone on not falling. Now Dave, at the Confluence do we turn Left,or is it Right :p ? Eeeny, meeny, miney, left. After a slight nav mishap we dusted ourselves off and reached cairn junc. Dave and Charlie made a dash for the surface whilst the rest of us packed the ladder. Now on the way into the cave we were going rather fast and I failed to bother myslef with looking at where we were going. The consequence was that neither myself, Dom nor Simon could remember the blasted way out and spent 45 mins searching every cranny ;@ . After, we went to Charlie's friends house and were greatful for the tea and cakes. Thanks Charlie's friend.
