It was quite pleasing to reach the bottom since we'd somehow manage to forget ropes for three of the pitches :/

Fafftastic. This was approximately plan D after multiple previous plans were abandoned due to weather forecast or lack of trip leaders elsewhere. After directing the other group to Sell Gill, we were finally on our way. For some reason, Tatty Wife is a cave I'd never to before. I’d probably always been put off by the long walk. We went to Twinkle Cave. You probably didn't. Ner ner na ner ner! This is a real cave, with formations and room to swing multiple cats. It wasn't the cave we were looking for, but that doesn't really matter at this juncture. We also found multiple other caves / digs / buckets / sinks in the vicinity of Twinkle Cave. Twinkle Cave.
