the day started not too early with an 8am start at the pre-packed car. we made it to inglesport promptly and enjoyed a good greasy second breakfast before we headed to the cave. we managed to get down to the cave by 11.30 (a whole hour earlier than predicted yay) we were slightly concerned that the rain would make it so we couldnt make it down final, but the entrance stream was practically bone dry which gave us hope for reaching... read more

We arrived on Leck Fell with minimal delay and shortly set off from the car after changing for the pleasantly short walk to the cave. Erika was to rig the first few pitches, so led the way with the 3 of us in tow. A short walk down the relatively dry stream, we reached the first short pitch down towards Dome. The short rope down led to a short walk before we reached the next short rope, Vestry pitch. Followed... read more

We nipped into Jama za Teglovko for some cavey photography after I had done the epic abseil over the entrance to Vranja Jama and Viki had de-rigged it. It was fairly late at night, maybe 10:30pm when we got in and midnight by the time we got out. The late hour was on account of the main cave of the day being the Gradisnica trips, and the fact that a whole day at Lake Bled was planned for the next... read more

Being a fan of efficient starts, we packed the rope the day before, and I ended the day before with a plan to pick Erika and Sophie up at 7am the next morning and to meet Jean-Luc either in the Dales or Skipton Morrisons. That all went fine, we met at Morrisons, ate, dealt with callout, and departed towards our parking spot on Crummack Lane. On the way we realised we didn’t actually have confirmation on our callout, so had... read more
