It all got off to a good start with the standard caving departure time of 7am however bad weather in the Dales prevented our weekend plan of doing Vespers followed by Nick pot (one day I'll get to do this cave!). Our back up of Ireby Fell didn't seem sensible either, so alas someone came up with doing Bar pot and camping underground. One of the most surreal experiences ever, not really too sure if I actually got any sleep. The flow of water down Gaping Gill was the most ferocious I've ever seen - it was breathtaking!
