A fantastic trip exploring some lesser visited passages in the County / Stop Pot area. Good route descriptions for bits can be found on the Braemor website and also in Not For The Faint Hearted (though we did miss out some of the less pleasant bits). Good preparation for a return when it is drier to do the Sylvester Pot round trip in NFTFH, although probably with some variation to avoid the pointless flat out crawling bits. Suggested round trip: Sylvester Pot, Cloughs Passage, Spout Hall, Eureka Junction via Upper Trident, Stop Pot, Mancunian Way, Easegill Aven, Molluscan Hall, Cloughs Passage, out Sylvester Pot.

Nice way has some of the best formations in Easegill, but a bit of a faff to get to and much crawling. Mainline however is easy walking into from Mainline Terminus (but an abseil at the other end - can always retrace your steps if you don't have a rope).

Trident in County Pot was as fun as ever. I confused Andy V by disappearing up one passage and returning a couple of minute later from a completely different way.

Anyone who says Easegill is dull is just plane WRONG.
